YES
Country Networks are youth-led national-level coalitions focused on
promoting youth employment in their countries. Their primary aim is
to work with diverse stakeholders to develop programs and projects
for youth employment in their countries. Membership of YES Networks
is diverse, including government officials, development agencies,
business groups, and youth-serving civil society organizations.
Activities
of YES Country Networks include:
1.
Engaging diverse stakeholders
in their countries to join the YES Country Networks and to promote
youth employment through their programs and already existing activities/initiatives
2.
Hosting national consultations
on youth employment to reach out to a wider audience and incorporate
new ideas
3.
Designing National Action Plans
for Youth Employment
4.
Developing concrete youth employment
projects and initiatives over the coming three years.
5.
Fundraising for YES Network activities
and projects
6.
Hosting workshops and training
events to provide capacity building activities for YES Network members
7.
Identifying effective youth employment
program and policies to share with the Global Alliance
8.
Developing youth employment Country
Reports outlining the state of youth employment in each country
9.
Preparing progress reports on each YES Network and activities undertaken
since the Alexandria Summit
