The YES Mexico 2004
was held in, World Trade Center (WTC), Veracruz, Mexico, from October 4
- 7, 2004.
YES Mexico 2004
was the YES Campaign's first Milestone Event, bringing together diverse
stakeholders from youth organizations, governments and NGO's as well as
leaders in academia.
It
was hosted by the government of Mexico. Strategies were
reviewed within the context of the YES Framework for Action;
successful programs, policies, and projects were also
highlighted and shared among Summit delegates. YES Mexico
2004 was
be an important milestone for evaluating global progress
on youth employment.
A "State
of YES Campaign Report 2004" was also released assessing
the impact of the Campaign.
