VISION

To increase social and economic development through youth entrepreneurship.

ABOUT MALI

Mali is a landlocked country in Western Africa. Its capital is Bamako. Mali has got eight regions and its borders on the north reach deep into the middle of the Sahara, while the country's southern region, where the majority of inhabitants live, features the Niger and Senegal rivers. The country's economic structure centers around agriculture and fishing. Some of Mali's natural resources include gold and salt.

Mali achieved independence in 1960. After a long period of one-party rule, in 1991 a new constitution had been write with establishment of democracy. About half the population lives below the international poverty line of US$1.25 a day.

BACKGROUND

Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world. The problem of Youth employment is a really challenge in spite of adoption of various policies by the government. However, Mali is nowadays one of the most politically and socially stable countries in Africa. Investments are secured. So, Youngsters just need support and leadership to go on the way of a sustainable entrepreneurship.

CURRENT MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF YES MALI

• Making a campaign to inform authorities about YES

• Making collaboration between Government and NGOs and organization like ASHOKA in framework of youth entrepreneurship,

• Supporting young entrepreneur those have got financing for government to get mentoring,

• Helping organisation of YES western african summit in Ouagadougou –september 2011- and Bissau first lady summit –december 2011
