Bidhan Chandra Pal, Youth Leader (Volunteer) from Bangladesh, said: "I have learnt a lot about important issues concerning a country like mine. I have gathered a great deal of information from these sessions and I hope to implement whatever I have grasped here back in my country."

Enayat Ali, a delegate from Afghanistan, stated, "This Hyderabad YES Regional Forum provided valuable exposure for all the delegates of the member countries present here. Especially, for a country like Afghanistan, the inputs will be of use. Also, I intend to introduce some of the stated measures in my country with the help of the concerned authorities."

A delegate from Cambodia said the issues addressed during the meet would enable her to formulate a strategy and put it into action with the help of other NGOs. According to her she was able to gather points on problems, which most developing countries like Cambodia are facing.

A group of young people from Nepal shared a similar viewpoint and hoped to do away with the problems of illiteracy, poverty etc in Nepal from the inputs they could gather at the forum.

"I have been able to understand the importance of certain issues like water and sanitation, rural development etc especially for the developing countries. However, my main focus was on the issue of HIV/AIDS about which I learnt quite a bit. On my return I plan to introduce new schemes and projects back in my country on the basis of what I have learnt here," said a delegate from Kenya.

Jennifer Corriero, Co-founder and Director, TakingITGlobal, USA, said, "The most important aspect of the Hyderabad Forum was the people's contribution to it. They have actively participated in all the sessions and workshops and have come up with some innovative ideas on most issues as well."

A delegate from Uzbekistan had a suggestion to offer here. According to him more focus should have been laid on a country-wise development. The problems of each country should have been addressed individually and not regionally, as was done.
