The YES Secretariat focuses on creating easy to use resources for all stakeholder of youth employment. This section features toolkits that have been developed to aid organizations in establishing and implementing the most effective youth employment strategies. The following Toolkits will provide youth with step-by-step instruction, along with valuable resources and advice to help carry out Action Plans.

Youth Employment Summit 2002:

YES 2002 Navigation Toolkit
The Summit Navigator was designed to assist delegates make the most out of their YES2002 experience. The toolkit consists of a Delegate Guide and Facilitator Guide. The toolkit contains useful information about the Summit, session guides, networking contact sheets and a glossary of terms that were delivered at YES2002. The Summit Navigator is a crucial part of the action planning process. This Toolkit may be used as a guideline for events.

The Sustainable Livelihoods Distance Learning Guide
The Sustainable Livelihoods Distance Learning Guide is a living document that captures and presents best practice on DFID's sustainable livelihoods (SL) approach. Section 1 is an Introduction to the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach, Section 2 outlines the Framework for Sustainable Livelihoods, Section 3 covers Uses of the SL Approach and Section 4 outlines the Methods of Implementing a Sustainable Livelihood approach. These toolkits are an output of a project funded by the UK Department For International Development (DFID) and are hosted on Livelihoods Connect an innovative information and knowledge management service provided by the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
