The Adaptive Blended Learning Education (ABLE) Institute is proud to offer its Employability Proficiency Certificate Program to the YES community. Studies have shown that the entry level workforce population is increasingly entering entry-level positions without the skills it needs to succeed on the job.

As the nation’s positions turn more white-collar, employers are expecting entry level employees to show knowledge of how to:

  • Operate basic office computer programs
  • Read into and understand economic trends, sales figures, and business charts
  • And to communicate easily with their co-workers

Without employees with reliable basic skills, companies are losing money due to lost productivity and training from internal and external sources. The ABLE Institute’s Employability program addresses these problems by teaching individuals core job skills in an online format that adapts to their learning style for better results and improved proficiency. The end result is an employee base with expertise in all core business skills and a desire to improve. Students who complete the program receive a certificate of readiness from ABLE.

The 9 course program includes the following:

English as a Second Language (ESL) Builder courses are designed to improve reading, writing, speaking, and business vocabulary using an advanced online model. The English Proficiency Program includes three courses:
