The Global Alliance for Youth Employment is a membership of diverse stakeholders including governments, NGOs, the private sector, youth organizations, and education and training institutions, who are committed to promoting youth employment. The actions that Global Alliance members take to promote employment for the world's youth will form the building blocks for the Summit and Campaign.

As a member of the Global Alliance you are part of the core group that works towards the goal of the YES Campaign:

1. To build the capacity of young people to be leaders for employment

2. To build an entrepreneurial culture where young people will work towards self employment

The Current Scenario of youth unemployment will provide you with an outline of the global crisis in youth employment and livelihoods.

The essence of being a member of the Global Alliance for Youth Employment is to identify the specific actions that you can take in order to promote productive and sustainable livelihoods for youth.

As a member of the Global Alliance you can:

Nominate initiatives in the Global Knowledge Resource.

Join the Discussion List where young people share stories, struggles, and insights with others living in similar environments.

Join your YES Country Network where you can participate in country specific events and launch action plans for youth employment.

Joining the Global Alliance for Youth Employment allows you the opportunity to have a stake in the lives of the world's youth and to build relationships with other like-minded member institutions.
