Town Hall Plenary Session: Looking at the Future – Learning from ‘What Works’ to Promote an Entrepreneurial Culture.
WTC, Ulua 2 and 3
Description: It is clear that jobs in the public and private sector are extremely scarce. One billion youth between the ages of 14-24 and another 1.2 billion youth under the age of 14 just cannot be absorbed into jobs. Therefore, a culture of self- employment has to be mainstreamed in all countries. In this session, it was shown how MDGs can be fulfilled through youth entrepreneurship and empowerment.
