The YES Campaign has been convening stakeholders at YES Global Summits which have been held in Egypt 2002, Mexico 2004, Kenya 2006, Azerbaijan 2008, and Sweden 2010 to place the burning issue of youth unemployment on the global agenda.

Each summit is attended by about 2000 delegates, including Ministers of Youth and Employment, from over 100 countries. The 5th global summit is scheduled for June 2-5 2010 in Leksand Sweden. At these Summits – the youth delegates meet with ministers, experts, donors, practitioners, and other stakeholders to develop program and polices that will help build in-country capacity to provide the education, training, and wherewithal to develop pilot projects to nurture youth entrepreneurship and other services needed by young people to find productive work.
