After you have registered for the summit: do you have an exciting new project, product or service that you would like to display in the Innovation Marketplace? We invite all of our registered delegates to take advantage of the international forum to present their materials to their peers and the world. Click here.

Step 3 – Air Travel

Next you will want to check for flights. At present, we have not obtained a commitment from the airlines for reduced fares.

Tours:
For some of you, the trip may be a long one, and you may want to take advantage of the wonderful tours that Kenya has to offer. You may contact Holiday Plus for the booking.

Request for all of you, to reserve your rooms immediately and send that information to info@yesweb.org

Step 5– Visa and Health Issues

IMPORTANT VISA RELATED INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES

Now you are coming down to the final steps. The next thing you need to do is verify Kenya’s visa requirements for your country of citizenship. We find that Kenya Airways has a helpful web site that not only tells you about visa requirements, but also about possible health issues that you may need to be documented depending on where you are traveling from. Click here for more information. You can also fill out the visa application online and print it to take to the Kenyan embassy or consulates in your country.

Step 6 – Travel Planning

Finally, prepare yourself for the experience of your life. Here are some things that you should keep in mind. Clothing should be practical, comfortable and informal. Lightweight cotton shirts, shorts, trousers or skirts are ideal on safari, while a warm sweater, jacket (and socks!) may be needed for early morning game drives and cool highland evenings. Bring your sunhat, sun cream, sunglasses, a small flashlight (torch), alarm clock and comfortable dustproof shoes. Lip balm, insect repellent, and your summit reading materials are also useful. Leave valuable jewelry at home. Usually, the climate in Nairobi is pleasant in September. Temperatures range between 15-25. Never drink tap water in Kenya. Bottled (mineral) water is available readily at shops and supermarkets. Hotels will provide a flask with purified water in your room to brush your teeth.

We recommend that you learn as much about Kenya as you can. Check www.lonelyplanet.com for a lot of interesting information on Kenya…and get ready!
